Easy Stop Motion studio: Introduction to animation App Reviews

Fairly disappointed. My child was interested in this app specifically for the Halloween scene that is shown in the examples. But when you buy the app, the Halloween scene doesnt exist. Neither does the Easter scene. It feels a little dishonest to show screenshots/features that dont match the software.

Very hard to rotate or get the shapes in the right direction...would also love the addition of text

What a great app. In an age of loud, awful, 5-second bursts of noise and instant gratification, here is a quiet app that asks you to be patient. Your patience will be hugely rewarded. My 6 year old is learning how to use it, and sitting still started out as a challenge, but now that she is seeing her movie take shape she works harder for longer periods of time. Thanks to the designers for teaching something I thought was lost forever: persistence.

I cant even make a car tire without it closing and deleting all my hard work! Can you give me an update?

Its really bad app. It cost too much. We have summer now and we can find christmas template, in the app.

Without audio its liveless

This app has a lot of potentials to be one super app for kids but for the bugs and regular crashes that is encountered when using it. My eight year old who loves making animations to my surprise lost interest after 7 mins of getting started. The bugs would just not let her proceed further. I will not recommend this app to anyone. A good waste of my money I would say.

This is a wonderful application and my little kid likes it very much. She is always immersed in the game, forgetting time and everything around. With bugs fixed and updates, this application gives more outstanding performance and brings even better playing experience. This is really an innovative and attractive application!

Recommend for older kids but wow I love clay animation movies and this app is just like it but with shape I used this app to shoe my nephew how the studios did there movies and he thought this app was awesome! Why I say for older kids is that have to follow directions with each "movie" they are making and they need to have the patience to finish the movie to watch it overall great app glad to have got it.

This app, cleverly designed, offers exercises in animation, from simple to complex, using shapes moved by the fingers. The completed films can be saved and viewed, over and over. Limited only by a childs patience and imagination. All who try this will have a new respect for the meticulous work of animators! This app is wonderful for children and adults alike. No limit to the possibilities and teaches patience and creativity that is boundless. My 9 year old could not put the iPad down, and I really wanted her to, because I was dying to use the app myself! Make more like this one! I highly recommmend it!

Easy mode isnt working in this version which frustrated my daughter, but expert mode is easy enough. With this app you can create designs with a variety of shapes, rotate, change the color, resize, group, and bring to front those shapes, and snap a pic with each slight movement youve made. At any time, animate your stills by clicking play, and youve just made your first animation! I wish there was: 1) a redo button - as Ive found myself mistakenly deleting something I wanted to keep, 2) a quick resize button, like in word processing programs where you can adjust the font 1 point at a time, as the objects are so small on my phone its hard to use pinch to resize, 3) that you could add music, and 4) that you could select from a larger color palette. But even so, I just made a "movie" that Im ready to show off to my friends. Love the app!

this app is simple to use for children, even tho there are boxes to guide the child the shapes do not "have" to be diretly in them for everything to work

There are way too many crashes and times when it just freezes- also no undo button, plus the fact that you completely lose everything after a crash- afraid to start a new project because Im not sure if Ill lose it for a third time PLEASE FIX!!!!

Really really lame. You dont get to draw anything, only a small selection of shapes to choose from. Kinda hard to control wastes a lot of time yo. Costs way too much when in the end I just ended up deleting it. Laaaammme.

This definitely fills a need in the simple animation category. Easy rotation, grouping of objects, simple tool set, ease of building scenes, but horrible when compiling scene. I have a seventeen frame animation, and it crashes almost every time when making changes.

Simply a fantastic app. Fun for anyone in the family. Easy to use. This app opens up a world of creativity. Within minutes the kids are creating short movies. No ads. No nagging screens for in-app purchases. This app is wonderfully gender neutral, well designed and a refreshing pleasure to pick up.

I really like the app but I wish you could change the frames per second
